Irene M Divelbiss, 63 of Mendon died Ssunday, June 27,2010 at her home. She was born Jan 30, 1947 in New Kensington PA, a daughter of William and Mary Jane (Imm) Kremer.She was a graduate of Robert Morris Junior College in Pittsburgh, and had resided in Mendon since 1975.She married Lee Divelbiss in 1973. Together they operated Lee's TV Repair and Variety Shop in downtown Mendon. Their marriage ended in divorce and Lee died in 1999.Irene had worked at TH Plastics in Mendon. she was a US Census Bureau worker and later worked for Bob's Auto and Truck Repair in Mendon and Three Rivers.In her spare time, she enjoyed knitting and crocheting, puzzles and karaoke music.Irene is survived by three children, Brian Huckstep (Tisha) of Oak Park, Ill, Lee Divelbiss of Coldwater, and Janet Divelbiss of Lansing; 11 grandchildren; five sisters, Judith Gross of Canonsburg PA, Norma Jean Dice of New Kensington PA, Donna Chippeaux of Tampa FL, Rose Hughes of Colon MI, and Shirley Dash of Mishawaka IN; and several nieces and nephews.she was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter BethAnn Divelbiss; a sister, Carol Townsend; and a brother William Kremer Jr.Cremation has been conducted. A memorial service will be held at 2pm Friday at West Mendon United Methodist Church with pastor Ward Pierce officiating.The family will receive friends for one hour prior to services at the church.
