Albert Edwin Imm

Born in Lydney,Gloucester, England, Feb 16,1877, Albert E Imm of 511 Ridge Avenue died Wednesday morning at 11:50am in Sheridan Nursing Home at Mars. He was 74. Mr Imm came to the United States with his parents in 1883 and lived in McKeesport until 1895 when he established residence in the local area. For 39 years he was employed by the American Sheet an Tin Plate Company and was retired when the mill was dismantled several years ago.
Mr Imm had been a member of the Trinity Evangelical and Reformed Church since 1896 and was always active in local church and civic affairs.
His survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Charlotte Baumann and one son, F.Charles of Lakewood, OH. Seven grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.. He also leaves one sister, Mrs. William McAllister of Tarentum. Friends are being received at the Frank L Hankey and Son Funeral Home, 217 Freeport Rd, where services will be held Saturday at 2:30pm with the Rev. R. Vincent Hartman officiating. Interment will be made in Union Cemetery.

Albert was a tin mill roller by trade, and worked as church janitor at Trinity.
