Janet Lorraine Hrivnak, 53, of Lower Burrell died Wednesday October 27, 1999 in Vencor Hospital, Oakdale.Born July 12, 1946 in New Kensington, she lived in the Valley all her life. Mrs Hrivnak worked in the food service department of Burrell High School for 19 years before retiring.She was a member of the Puckety United Presbyterian Church, Lower Burrell, Order of the Eastern Star, the American Legion Auxilliary, Lower Burrell, and the Birdie Chasers Golf League at Woodlawn Golf Course in Fawn and Lower Burrell Fire Dept Couples Golf League.She enjoyed golfing, cooking, and baking.Survivors include her husbnd of 34 years, Robert Emil Hrivnak Sr, a son, Robert E Hrivnak Jr of Palm Springs CA, a daughter,Mrs Charles (Holly Kristin) Weiss of Palm Springs Gardens, FL, a grandson, her father Wilbert Thomas Schantz of New Kensington; 3 brothers, Thomas Schantz of Chicago IL, Charles Schantz of Lower Burrell, and Kevin Schantz of Philadelphia; 4 sisters, Mrs Jay (Doris) Coudriet of Tarentum, Elaine Schantz of New Kensington, Mrs Frank (Lois) Bakewell of Washington Twp, and Mrs John (Linda) Brem of Allegheny Twp.She was preceded in death by her mother, Ruth Olive Imm Schantz.
Burial in Greenwood Memorial Park, Lower Burrell.
