Carol Elaine Townsend, 37, of Falcon Park Road, New Kensington PA Westmoreland County, died May 4, 1985 in the Belair Nursing Home in Lower Burrell after a three year illness. She was born March 27, 1948 in New Kensington, daughter of Mary Jane Imm Kremer Yockman and the late William Kremer Sr. She graduated from Burrell High School in 1966. She was a member of the Manchester Reformed Presbyterian Church in Upper Burrell. Survivors include her mother, Mary Jane Yockman of Lower Burrell; son William Clayton Townsend III and daughter Carol Renee Townsend both at home; brother William Kremer Jr of Upper Burrell, and sister Mrs LeRoy (Irene) Divelbiss of Mendon MI; stepsisters Judy Gross of Venetia, Norma Jean Dice of New Kensington, Donna Chippeaux of Tampa FL, Rose Hughes of Colon MI, and Shirley Lunger of Niles MI.
